The Vancouver
Aquarium encourages aquatic conservation through an
appreciation for the connections among animals, the environment and ourselves
with fun, experience-based learning. Engaging Science provides opportunities
to spread this approach to elementary school teachers throughout BC.
The Aquarium
delivers five hands-on workshops; Not-So-Scary Science, Wild Wetlands,
Coastal Creatures, Survivor and The Human Body. All workshops encourage interactive approaches
to exploring environments and come with a manual.
