The Engaging Science program is designed to help BC teachers implement the science curriculum in the new Integrated Resource Package (IRP). The program's mandate is to deliver:

• Hands-on, teacher training workshops in every region of BC.
• Classroom learning resources, including activity workbooks, kits, videos and electronic media.
• Demonstrations of classroom technology applications and strategies, such as interactive teleconferencing events, websites, chat rooms and other connectivity solutions.

The core of our program is a set of innovative teacher training workshops designed to introduce fun activities and lesson ideas to K-7 teachers. The workshops are presented by staff of the three Engaging Science partners: the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre, Science World and the Vancouver Aquarium.
